1. When verifying information about a lost item, the owner must provide a detailed description of its distinguishing features and the location where it was lost. If the item was lost on transportation to or from the airport (including an aircraft or airport bus), the owner must also present relevant proof of travel (e.g., air ticket, boarding pass, bus ticket) and, if possible, provide additional details such as the seat number. The item may be claimed only after the information has been verified.
2. When collecting the item in person, the owner must present the original of a valid identity document or a clear copy/scan/photo thereof, and provide a valid contact number. After confirming the item on site, the owner must sign to acknowledge receipt.
3. If the owner authorizes another person to collect the item on their behalf, the owner must complete and submit a Letter of Authorization in the required format via the designated email address or mini-program in advance. The authorized person’s details must match those in the letter. When collecting the item, the authorized person must present the original of a valid identity document or a clear copy/scan/photo, and provide a valid contact number. After confirming the item on site, the authorized person must sign to acknowledge receipt.
4. If the owner authorizes a courier company to collect the lost item, the owner must complete and submit a Letter of Authorization in the required format via email or the mini-program in advance, and then contact the courier company to arrange for on-site pickup. When collecting the item, the courier employee must present the original of a valid identity document or a clear copy/scan/photo. After confirming the item on site, the courier employee must sign to acknowledge receipt.
